I wanted to try something different today. Quick Google Search for Tofu….Tofu House it is! Walked in for a late lunch and I got to choose where I wanted to sit. Right off the cuff i had a Mom n Pop feeling of the place. Started with water and SoJu because when in Rome. Soon the typical Korean sides appeared and I snacked while I waited for my meal. I ordered the combo Tofu Soon and flounder with rice of course. Everything was super tasty and I enjoyed every bite. Even though my pescatarian self felt a little dirty finding meat in my stew, but that is my fault. I would recommend this place to anyone even a vegetarian. The atmosphere of this place is its sore spot. Not that it makes it a bad place. It just keeps it from being a great place. But maybe that’s the secret of it all.

First time here. We had dinner here. I had been craving bulgogi for so long and this meal was so very delicious!!!! I paired it with the side dishes, white rice and the center plate with the tteokbokki and with the sauce…absolutely delicious! My friend had a seafood soup and I very much enjoyed that one too. The hostess was very sweet and welcoming. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Looked at the place online and was very excited. Once we got there the place was dingy and dark. When ordering the waitress seemed confused and generally unfriendly. When being brought our food one of our orders was completely wrong and the other seemed like a knock off version of what we ordered. It wasn't what the menu described and was disappointing and overall gross. It tasted like I attempted the dish at home and failed. There was one service worker who brought us our check and was super sweet. He was the highlight of our dinner and asked why we didn't enjoy the food and such, but overall the experience here was bad and we won't be coming back.

Food was good. Parking is easy. Pretty fast service. Good spot for your Korean fix Food/Drink- 4 stars Had the lunch bulgogi rice special. It was pretty good. Basically the equivalent to something you can get from the Korean market, which currently isn't available in Bakersfield. Service- 5 stars Food came out quickly and service was great throughout. Did have to fetch the waiter at times Bottom Line Pretty easy fast casual Korean diner. Easy spot, especially for work lunches

Came here with my boyfriend who found the place. The food was soo good and the portions are so generous. I’m so happy to have a place to eat Korean food in Bakersfield now. The day we went our server was Karen and she was super nice to us. She made our first time very comfortable and we’ve gone 2 other times now because we like the place so much. The only negative thing we’ve had so far is another server though who has purple hair who was talking to this other table while when we were waiting to be seated. We stood there as she chatted and it felt kind of awkward until another server came to seat us. Other than that the place is great.
